Rich Dad Poor Dad Scam
Rich Dad Poor Dad Scam

Are you wondering whether or not the Robert Kiyosaki seminars are a Rich Dad Poor Dad scam? Then, keep reading because I have attended many conferences, and have a few thoughts that I would like to share.
First, the free seminars cannot be a scam because they are FREE! They are, however, extremely motivational. So, you should decide BEFORE you ever attend one, what you are and are not willing to invest in the next seminar that will be verbally sold to you. But, if you have no idea because you’ve never been to one before, then go with an open mind and a tight grasp on your wallet. Be sure to have some type of checklist system that will help you determine whether or not the next seminar is right for you. Do not make the decision too quickly. Maybe attend two or three free seminars before you decide to go to one of the three-day seminars.

Second, knowing yourself is probably the best indicator of whether or not you should attend the three-day seminar. If you are clueless, may I suggest that you do not attend the seminar. Instead, invest a few hundred dollars in courses at a local real estate school. (Also, you can get a much better understanding of conepts just by playing the Cashflow 101 Game). In this way, you can gain some of the basic vocabulary and concepts without drinking from the fire hose of the three-day seminar. If you already have some basic knowledge of real estate transactions, lease options, short sales, and creative financing, then the three-day seminar may be just the boost you are looking for to get your creative juices flowing! But, determine that you
- 1) will read all the introductory materials before you attend,
- 2) will take copious notes in order to learn as much as possible,
- 3) will get involved in any discussions or question-asking sessions, and
- 4) will network with the people around you.
Be sure to take business cards & even a sign-up sheet if you would like others’ contact information. By taking these steps, you will be sure that you are not part of any Rich Dad Poor Dad Scam. (By the way, it will be during the three-day seminar that approximately ½ a day will be devoted to selling you further seminars).
Third, for those considering any further seminars, BEWARE! Many others have commented that they did not get all they had hoped from these seminars. Please understand that only superior understanding of real estate principles actually qualifies someone to continue taking these seminars. If you felt like you needed more education that what was given to you at the three-day seminar, then this should be a HUGE WARNING to find the information elsewhere first! Learning so much information can only be applied as it is learned in smaller amounts, internalized, and action taken on the information. Do not expect magic from any learning institution—no matter the price tag that comes with it!
Keep from a Rich Dad Poor Dad Scam through Education!
